Default Goldilocks child's quilt.

I had so much fun finishing this child's quilt up. It was a donated panel to begin with (thanks dreamer) and I had to cut it all the way back to the center white panel to square it up. Then I had fun choosing the colors for the sashing's to put back on to make it large enough for use. The brown fabric looks just like the little golden books last pages with the leaves. And I seem to remember the hound's tooth being on some of the books too.

Anyone remember those pages? They also put a place for your name inside on that page. I got a kick out of using it. I wonder if anyone else will realize that when they see it? Kinda fun to remember those days of reading to the kids.

This is one of three I just finished for the diabetes silent auction.

That is a lovely quilt and what a noble gesture! I bet it will make a nice sum of money at the auction. Best wishes. Thank you for sharing.

That is awesome. Some of the baby boomer story book character or not seen often. This should make plenty of $$$$.

Thanks so much ladies! It is really a super easy one. But, wow, it was fun because of the memories of reading to the kids.
