    Default My DP9 (a get-well hug)

My friend's stepdaughter is battling cancer so I thought a warm quilty hug was necessary. This was my first attempt at the DP9 and I used the recipient's favorite colors (peacock). Not sure what I was thinking, but by the time I had the blocks done, there were enough for 2 quilts. This is the first one FINISHED. The second top is already done too - identical to this one. Hope it will cheer the patient up a bit.

It is very pretty. I am sure she will love having your Warm hugs quilt! And now you have a second one to keep or share.

Wow, very bright and cheerful. I think it's so important to have something tangible while you battle cancer. Each time she uses this, she'll remember and appreciate that you took the time to make it for her. The colors are wonderful.
