Way to go! You should be very proud of your work. Whether it's your first or fiftieth, you will always keep learning. It's exciting to watch our progress as we learn a bit with each quilt.

You did a great job with your rail fence quilt. Love the colors. We are too critical of ourselves at times, be proud!

Nice job and I absolutely love the cheery yellow! Check out Fons & Porter for binding tips--the way they do their binding really helped me. And frankly, other than the corners which aren't even bad, your binding looks good!

Someone on the board has a quote on their posts that says something about aiming for excellent allows for real creativity, while aiming for perfection stifles creativity---you already seem to have this figured out! Good for you!

Wonderful job on a first quilt. My first one is so bad the dog won't even use it. Your choice of colors and matching seams is awesome for a first timer!

Congratulations on your first finish...and good for you that you followed the process to the end rather than it ending up in a UFO pile. I think you did a terrific job on your first quilt and as long as you enjoyed the journey...that's what counts.

When I was finished with my first quilt I told myself, "it can only get better from here" You really did a nice job for your first quilt!
