    Thanks for all your welcome greetings. I just finished this "I Spy" quilt for my 2-year-old granddaughter. I was getting ready to mail it for her birthday when I got the idea to make one for her dolls. So here are the finished quilts. Several of my quilting friends looked through their stashes to find some of the 56 squares I needed. I found the alphabet fabric on sale at Hancock's and then chose the colors for the sashing. I had so much fun doing this that I cut extra squares for another one should the occasion arise.

    Yep they are cute. I'm in the process of gathering fabrics too and it's not as easy as it would seem is it?

    Looks lovely for her and her baby doll.

    Yes, it took some doing but was lots of fun. The trick is to get the different fabrics without having to buy a fat quarter for each one. Good luck with yours.
