    I would make another row of blocks and then add borders whatever width needed to make it as wide as I wanted.
    The quilt is beautiful and I hopw he appreciates it enough to take care of it. Make a label with care instructions, as how to wash and dry.

    superb quilt espesially for a lad off to college, think I would put a small border of one of the colours used then a larger one in background fabric, but its your quilt and I look forward to seeing it complete, well done

    Default Well, here it is, with borders

    I read all your ideas and appreciate the suggestions. Had really planned on a piano key border (among others) and realized it would be silly to put tons more time into this quilt that is likely to be abused LOL.

    Sooooo I added five borders, using the black (actually it's a charcoal blender), white, and the cranberry.

    Nice quilt. I would do a red boarder and then a checkerboard black & white with a red square thrown in every once in awhile.
