Default "Islands in the Stream" batiks carpenters star
I made this for a house warming present for friends who just moved into their first house ever. They've lived in a mobile home for 27 years. They were so excited to be moving in and she absolutely loves hand made gifts. I gave it to them today and got a big hug and she said she felt so special. That touched my heart. I used batiks from Connecting Threads, 10" squares. It ended up being @ 70x70". I quilted it on my DSM using stencils and frixion pens. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
