This was my oldest unfinished top, I think. I made it in the 90s during a class with Lynn Graves. Found the border fabric at Joanns and it tied it all together. Quilted by my machine quilter with a ribbon design since it needed simplicity.
I am not a contemporary quilter and this is the wildest design I have ever done. Most of the color fabric was leftovers from kits and scraps. It has several Benartex cat fabrics that fit in with the colors.

I LOVE it!!
The quilt looks like it could have been made this month instead of a more than a decade ago. Nothing dated about it at all.
And that's certainly not a log cabin layout you see everyday. I'm keeping a copy for future reference.

I wish I could have that feeling. I've got some oldies but goodies laying around here. Maybe one of these days. :roll:
