    Default Last minute difficulties

Every year I tend to quilt up to the last minute before my guild's quilt show. I also make a placemat for the potluck we have honoring out judge. Usually I do that well in advance. My plan was to do it today for the judging tomorrow. I could not sleep last night so I started it at 4:30 AM. Not a good plan. Errors like crazy, even though the pattern (MY own) is the same as I use every year. PHOOEY! I just started next year's placemat, having learned my lesson.

We are Log Cabin Quilters, which is the reason for the pattern.

BTW, I have all but 3 of my Christmas quilts completed. I generally don't procrastinate, merely take on too many total projects.
