For the little bird & the "VT" logo, I used a combination of Sharpie Ultra Fine Point permanent pens & Pigma pens. I started out using just the Pigmas, but the ones I have at home were TOO fine, so I switched to the Sharpies. As long as I didn't hold them down on the fabric too long, I didn't have any bleeding problem with them & the colors they have now are wonderful! I also did iron them too, just in case.
Hope that helps :D

I have a question. What writing implement did you use to write on fabric? Thanks for any information you can give me.

Thanks Sue.
I'm planning a quilt with my grandchildren's handprints. I want to add blocks with some of their artwork. I'm debating on using crayons or allowing these little ones access to the sharpies. I'm leaning towards the crayons but the sharpies would be brighter. Such a dilemma!

Aaahhhh shucks! Thanks Vicki! I know where they are, but I ain't tellin'! lol
Yvonne - What if YOU trace around their hands, then let them color the handprints with the crayons? Just remind them to color 'em in REALLY good! Then you could go around them again with a Sharpie to brighten it even more. I'm looking forward to seeing it!
