    I don't think that is the binding. I counted out from the center square in two of the blocks and think that black is a planned design element in the log cabin block.

    I'd like to know more about how closely it is quilted, and how wide the binding. I've been trying to work up my nerve to use fleece in donation quilts that will be washed frequently, probably in a commercial washer.

    Wow! Beautiful quilt! I've been having a log cabin on my bucket list since the time I began quilting. What has put me off is that I fear I will become lazy when making so many blocks alike. I don't know if I can keep my nose to the grindstone long enough to get the job done. You did an awesome job!!
