Cool Make Your Own Quilt Pulley

I sent my comp drawing idea to a friend so she'd have a way to take pics of her quilts. This is what her DH did for her. When not in use, the flannel acts as a design board. Either way, it can be removed quickly. If you don't have wall space available, you can always use a door opening like she did. Really inexpensive and it took her DH all of 10 min. to do!

I thought others might like my idea too to try!

That is cool. I was thinking about making one for my sewing room for taking pics of quilts when they are done.

You people are way too clever for words. You've helped me solve one of my problems with my new sewing room. I had open shelves put in on two of the walls. Lots of nice storage space, but some ugly looking stuff, mainly laundry detergent and tools, is going to have to go on the shelves that are visible from the dining room and kitchen. I like the idea of hanging this in front of those shelves. Yeah, OK, now I can see I'm going to have to make an extra special quilt to hang up there full time. Or maybe some panels which can easily be reached behind. Thanks!
