18 more to be exact. :D

I've been busy getting my classroom ready for students and getting my kids ready for college. One has been delivered-the 2nd drives himself there tomorrow. Monday and Thursday I'll be in my room, so I'm hoping one of the days next week can be for sewing. Sewing time sure took a downward spin.

    I finished these today.

Notice the tassel and bead colors change.

I'm going to save one of those sunflower ones for me. :D

    I love the backs too.

    Thanks for looking!

Okay, I'm convinced and inspired to make bookmarks as well. You're right, they will make great classroom gifts. I think I will include staff members.
Now, if only mine could be so nice....

Those are beautiful! The variety is great and the different ties will help them feel more individualized. The blues are my personal fav. :D Have you had your "met the teacher" with the kids yet?

Thanks! I meet the students on Thursday--1-3. A few have been emailing though. I put my website in the "Hello" letter. :D

I got a few flannel squares quilted today--for the ragged flannel I need to finish.

Sigh--my daughter's dorm room was SO small two beds and two desks wouldn't fit in!! They did some engineering and finally made it work. Poor girls.

Karla, your life is so busy I can not figure out where you find the time to make more book marks---but they sure are cute!!! It seems like just yesterday you were excited that school was out and you were going to have so much more time on your hands for quilting and now summer is over and you are back to school already! But-true to your word, you have produced at the sewing machine--I am so impressed. Wish I was as organized as you!

Oh Marcia--and don't forget--my stallion can now ground drive, thanks for Angie and Ashley! :D He and I have been out many times since then. And Rosie and I have been out to work on ground manners. I have major horse withdrawal when I go back to school--I race home to see my horses.

My daughter finally got her dorm room situated. Poor thing--she and her roommate had a room so small, it wouldn't hold two beds and two desks! They did some impressive engineering moves to get it all in! They both feel better tonight. Sigh--happy kids, happy mom.

The only thing left to do before summer is over is to kayak. I've never been and I really want to give it a try. I stopped at the rental place on the way home from taking Rachel to college, but they were all rented. This week I WILL go kayaking for the first time. I also wanted to pick blueberries one more time (I have 27 lbs in the freezer now) but that may not fit in. I may have to settle with making applesauce with apples from our tree. :?
