Default At last - the wedding quilt is FINISHED!!!

The wedding was on 11/11/11, and as many of you can relate, the gift was not finished. I finally completed it this week and gifted it today, and everyone loved it!

It was my first sampler quilt, alternating with solid blocks with raw edge appliqued hearts on them. On each heart I embroidered words from I Cor 13 - the verse that says Love is patient, love is kind, etc that we hear at weddings a lot. There is a heart for each phrase (some are combined) in the verse.

The back of the quilt has a panel I bought at the Houston quilt show that reminded me of what you used to see in old Bibles - the page showing where the couple got married. Does anyone know the name of the company who sells them or makes them? I'd love to know where to get more.

Thanks for looking......

Lovely quilt.

Here is a link to Bible blocks. I don't see anything like the wedding certificate.

There is also a place on etsey:

Maybe you could learn to print your own? Just an idea.

Love your quilt! Can you tell me the name of the block in the fifth row, third column? It is green and navy, and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to use it sometime soon.
