    Default My "Bargain Quilt" !

Last summer while visiting an out of town quilt shop, I found this wonderful panel called Friendly Folks, it was priced on clearance for only $3.00! I also found the red fabric on sale for $6.00 per yard. The rest of the scrappy fabrics came from my scrap stash. I immediately fell in love with the fabrics, even though I wasn't sure how I was going to make the quilt. After much measuring and figuring on paper, I came up with this design. I must say it just kind of evolved. Keep your eyes open for those bargains!

Great job! I love a bargain, too. You turned yours from a bargain to a trophy!

Very nice design job! I like to work with panels too, it's fun to come up with a unique quilt made from a "cheater" panel!

I love your quilt! Great job with panel (I've never tried) and makes me want to start searching them out. Glad you found a bargain & turned it into a wonderful quilt.

I usually don't buy cheater panels, but I loved the pictures on this one. It was a real challenge to cut the squares apart and make everything fit!
