Beautiful. Utube has a tutorial on this and the Lady that wrote the book does it. There are different ways to make it look. I would like to try it in the future and to the cathedrel window one. She talks about her book.

I was so impressed with this block that I bought the book. My friend had tried to follow a tute and had lots of trouble. So, I loaned her my book and she still had problems. Hopefully, I will have better luck when I get my book back:-)

Your block looks great! I have never tried this block, but my DGD is coming tomorrow and we are going to make a quilt together. I was thinking this might be a good block for her to start with. She is 13. I hope it isn't too difficult!

This will be a quilt for my cousin. :) She requested blues, greens, and purples. I'm making it scrappy, so there'll be a total of twelve fabrics plus white center and border.

the first problem I had was getting the right sides togher. I solved the problem by making a miniture one out different colors. great help,,, and no problem then. I am finishing one that is 3 wide and 4 long. will square up blocks today and then do my cathedrals.
