This is my very first block, to be honest it's my first time using a sewing machine. Had to read the manual to figure out how to use the machine thread broke about a dozen times. 4 hours later and I'm a half inch short on both sides. Oh well its only practice probably wont even put it in a quilt.

Love this fun block, keep going, you must put it into a quilt, I can imagine it completed and being enjoyed by a special child.

Looks so bright and cheery, ready for its' friends. Keep it. It is the start of your stash. You can put it together with something else later.

Thanks for the encouragement everybody now that I look at it again its only short by 1/4" on each side it's 12" instead of 12 1/2" I'm sure i can figure a way to make it fit in a quilt.
