So I accomplished this yesterday in the midst of packing our things to get ready to move. LOL. I have made many many rag purses for customers but had never actually made a rag quilt. So, this is going on the back of our new couch....when we get it..lol.My own housewarming gift. LOL. I also made a small rag pillow to match it, however, my Jack Russel Terrier, Milo, in the picture claimed it. He tried to claim my quilt as you can see in the picture. :D

Ya gotta love rag quilts! Doable in a short amount of time and leaves you with a great little quilt. I love the colors you used and I adore that little rag pillow. It's cute that Milo claimed it! :P
Good luck with your move. :)

Miranda,
All of my squares are 6 1/2". I actually started with 5 different selections of fabric and ran out and made a mad dash to Wal-Mart and they didn't have ANY of the same kind so I purchased some that was similar. Then, after I finished the quilt that I had planned, I thought it needed a border so then I added that and just barely had enough material to finish it. Whew! LOL.

Thank you all for all of your nice comments. :D

Lin,
Yes this was definitely doable in a short time. I think these will make great Christmas Gifts. lol
