This is a quilt I made for the mom of a friend. Her name is Margaret.
I designed and made this one from scratch, starting with making the diamond grid - or "trellis".
Then appliqued the vines on.
Then designed each flower and bud as I went along.
Then quilted it in a diamond cross hatching design which took FOREVER, as each line had to be a start and stop in every block.
So, yes it's ready for gifting, it's an original that I named for the recipient, and yes, I am so done with this one!
The good news is that I like the result.

That is very pretty. I hope you think about making a pattern and selling it. I love the colors.

Beautiful quilt, changing my name to Margaret would be worth it if I got a quilt like that!!!!:) Like your system for hanging the quilt for the photo. I do not have anywhere inside to hang a quilt, but this would work on my front porch:)

That is simply gorgeous and since it's all original you should design a pattern. The quilting books will snap this right up (can you say "royalties?) 'cause it's so different and delightful. WTG!

She will love it. The design, selection of fabric, and originality is stupendous. You are to be very proud of your work.
