Karla--I think you could be tempted to try paper piecing. Check out the webside for the Quilter's Cache. There's a 10" block named the Red Barn! C'mon--I bet you'll give it a go! :wink:

I had been wondering who’d been chopping at the trees. HA! I love ‘em Leslee. Watching you stitch them on break isn’t the same as seeing the wall. See you soon :thumbup:

Leslee--I just may--you've inspired me!! Yours are just wonderful!! I bookmarked the sight and will see what I can do. It'll be easier sicne nanabirdmo tempted us with that string square--so I get the idea now.

The weird thing is thinking about sewing on the paper with the material on the opposite side?? That's what I read in some directions somewhere. Can't it be done from the top--or can't the lines be seen?
