Default My Momma Sewed My Clothes

I saved the scraps from the clothes I made Lawrie from her toddler days through college. I wasn't even a quilter. Near the end of 2002, I started trying to make quilts. She received this for Christmas 2013.

Here she is standing by her quilt as it hangs in the Pine a Belt Fiber Art & Quilt Show this past weekend.

It won an honorable mention award.

Beautiful! You made more than a quilt. You made an heirloom. Look at her face, you can tell how much she loves it! Well done!

WOW!!! That is a blue ribbon quilt to me!
What a wonderful quilt idea, and to think of the heirloom you have created.

Love it! I did the same for my daughter, but I sure won't put it in a show!
