    Thanks for posting the whole picture. I made a Christmas tree skirt for my daughter from neckties and it was terrific looking. Have loads of ties and will probably try something like this as I wanted to make a crazy quilt with the different embroidery stitches but this would kill two quilting birds with one stone.

    Absolutely beautiful! The office where I work went from business attire to casual so the men didn't have to wear ties anymore. I put up a sign in the cafeteria for tie donations and I ended up with almost 200 mens silk ties. I've been looking for a pattern to use them with. This is one of the top ideas now!

    Love the quilt! My dear father-in-law was a retired pastor and had many ties. I have most of them...Now, I know I will have to make a tie-quilt. Thanks for sharing.
