    I have been looking at things to do with ties and found your quilt. Don't know how I missed it the first time around. It is really beautiful. Hope I can make one a pretty, although mine will be all machine work.

    good luck Pollyv9 momma took her neck ties all apart and all were hand washed and ironed .... if you have any with pictures in the center alot of 70's ones did great focal points ...... have fun working on your project

    I've been saving neck ties ever since I won a bag of them with the book "daddy's neck tie quilts" (or I think that is the name of the book) need to find it again! One of these days . . .

    Just beautiful thank you for sharing the photos I have started collecting ties to do a quilt and this is simply inspirational what a talent your mum was and she had a daughter that appreciates.
