My new old singer just got last night.

Craigs List does it again. I saw a singer ad and called up the guy. I thought it was in bad shape but willing to take the risk, if nothing more than a decoration table. It was very rough, will have to change or try to fix the top but for $75, it's doable. Alot of the decoration on the machine are gone and needs bigtime cleaning up but I have taken in rescue animals for years that were in poor shape..and loved them...so why not an old singer! I'm happy and this will be a big learning curve to redo this. I am looking forward to this. I don't even know if that is paint or some applied decoration, really rough looking at it closely but I like her and on the lookout for more. Now to learn what I can on what model, age, etc. Any comments or info would be appreciated. BTWm, my booboo needle ripped finger is almost healed. Thanks to this group, I have a pattern picked out. Im ready to rock hopefully next week. This board is sooo fantastic with info. What a great bunch of people!! I feel so lucky to be here...
