I had several 2 1/4" squares, but not enought to do much with so, I put them with the neutral squares-which were leftovers from a larger quilt. I had miscounted the number of strips I needed--duh!
I was going to make it a small quilt-crib quilt size, but decided to set in on point and add the outer border. The batting used was a fluffy poly batting my DD gave me (what she was going to use it for I don't know). The backing is a flannel flat sheet I bought still in the package for $1 at a garage sale. This is a comfy quilt, just perfect size to snuggle on the sofa with. I've already tried it out LOL!

I love it. I just don't see how you all have the patience to work with such small pieces. I'm gonna have to force myself to try it.
