This is my new stash that i've gotten over the last two weeks, all thrift store finds, and i love it all...all the bedsheets are a buck 50, and some are even king size, and there's some 50 cent drop cloths, and i got a queen size duvet cover, for 3 bucks, with one fabric on top, and a different but matching fabric on bottom.....are you jealous henry? lol This one i got today, i love it, two matching double flat sheets, 1.50 each, and a drop cloth for 50 cents. I will make aq double irish chain with this. I will use the front side of the sheet for the centre of the double chain, and i will use the backside of the fabric for the outer chain, i think that will be gorgeous, and i will use the white for the background.

Will make a double irish chain with this

I need to start shopping at thrift stores instead of JoAnns. Spent over $60 last time I was there, but did buy a few other things other than fabric (only bought 3 different colors) but, I also just took what was left on the bolt of all three (I do that a lot) but they are all good for blenders too, so not too bad. Needed the burgandy, teal and the blue for my sibling quilts, the rest will be just from my stash. My plan is to make all 5 of us a Woven Ribbon Quilt in each of our favorite colors, had fabrics pulled out for them, but keep finding something else in my stash that might look better, so now the sibling bin is starting to overflow too.

I finally figured out how much fabric of each color is needed, so I don't do what I did with the original one I made, ran out of the background color for the inner border with the points at the end of the ribbons, so put that one aside hoping to eventually find more fabric (only need about 1/4 yard, maybe a couple fat quarters) so made another one in really bright colors.

Will post a pic of it when done, working on the inner border now.
