So sorry for your loss. You are taking on a very intense project, and will be so happy with the results when you are done. I would suggest making a lap sized or a wall hanging size so it can be displayed rather than used. Then you will be able to make several if you want for her children as a keepsake. Loosing a sister is such a great sorrow. Take your time and I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be beautiful.

So sorry for your loss. You all looked beautiful, the gowns were gorgeous and should make a beautiful quilt and a wonderful memory. Bless you all and you'll come up with something that your sister loved/that you all loved about her. Good Luck finding that special pattern. Sue, P.C., Fl.

I am so sorry for your loss......... I too have lost a loved one to cancer. That is such a lovely idea - to make a quilt from the dresses. How about double wedding ring or cathedral window with the lace in the middle of each window.
Good luck and will be watching for the finished quilt. PS: how about using colors of the flowers as a secondary color in the quilt.
