my version of head over heels shoe quilt
Here is my version of the head over heels quilt ,the panel was from quilting, addict
This was made for my neice who loves shoes, she wanted the same colors as quilting.addict made her, so I tried to find fabric that was kind of the same. I made some extra block of purses so it would be a nice size lap quilt. I thought that shoes and purses go together well.
I did a quilt as you go on my sewing machine and I use a fleece for the back without any batting. This made a soft and warm quilt without to much weight. This was the first time I have used fleece for the back of a quilt and it was not to bad working with , I did use a spray to keep it from moving around while I was quilting it.
Now I will see if I can upload the picture LOL not real good with this computer
Thanks for looking

I know a lot of young women that would just love a quilt like that... the handbags are a nice addition to your quilt. It looks nice and soft good idea about the fleece backing to make it light weight.
