Have had a few requests to see what my blocks look like. Rather than redirect everyone to the weight loss challenge or the fat quilts and have them search thru the pages I decided to post pic's here.
The center and the middle blocks are 4 1/2in., the outer block is 6in. It is a simple block.
I saw another quilter show pic's of her's on here and I loved how easy and fun it was. I wish I could remember who it was. I have to make 19 more for the weight already lost.

    First 10 blocks

That will make a lovely quilt. How many pounds does the quilt represent? Or is that not available for discussion yet?
You look good just as you are.

Each block represents a lost pound. So the size of the quilt will be determind on what I lose. I am shooting for 100lbs. lost but I will probably need to make 2 quilts if I accomplish that.

Anyone can join the fat quilts for "fluffy people" thread at anytime and the weight loss challenge with a prize thread too at the biginning of each month, the next challenge should be posted in a day or 2 by Trupeach1.

Congratulations on your weight loss and the beautiful quilt to commemorate this important feat! I've been crawling down that road since January. I say crawling since the weight comes off at 1/2 to 1 pound most weeks. But I'm forging ahead. This quilt will surely have a special place in your home and can serve as a motivator!
