    When I make a log cabin quilt I get really bored making just one block over & over & over! So have done up log cabins that use more than one color way, as in my summer Navajo. It not only has 3 color ways but both log cabin blocks, (half light half dark) but also court house steps blocks, (the darkest blocks) then 4 tras blocks, where the CHS blocks cross, In my Navajo fall quilt I used 5 different color ways, as I added a row of blocks all around the quilt as a border.
