No sashing. That way, nothing competes with the boldness of the fabrics. The sashings make it much to busy and confusing to look at to me.

The blocks are beautiful..try placing them on points and see the different look that you will get. I think the gold would look good for the triangles.

IMHO the pattern shows up much better without the sashing. Maybe could put a gold 1/2" sashing and a 3" border to finish the quilt off.
