gcathie, The book is "Better by the Dozen", by Susan Teegarden Dissmore. There are 12 different blocks and 12 different quilt patterns you can use to set them in. The first two blocks they assigned were fairly easy, but this month they sent a list of tools required that scares me! Graph paper, drawing ruler, mechanical pencil and a special triangle ruler. I think I may have to wring my DH neck!! Wish me luck.

Janstar, I think I would have to hand over the tools to the one who challenged you (DH  ) and tell him that after he has worked out the particulars to hand it over to you and you'll stitch it. HMMM? Seriously, just take it ONE STEP AT A TIME and you can work it through. Curiously, how big are these blocks. That seems like awfully small pieces. My fingers don't work tiny pieces so well.

Don't you just love a challenge though? That will be fabulous when done. I love your fabric choices and I think the pattern is beautiful! Keep posting..I'm excited to find out what you are learning.
