Default Old National Road Quilt

This is 12 panels put together to represent the Old National Road (Route 40) that goes through our area. The gray road connects all the sections together. I wish you could see all the details. It is really beautiful.

What a fun and educational quilt. This will be very meaningful to those who have traveled this "old road". Nice work by everyone who participated. Thank you for sharing this lovely momento.

This looks very much like portions of Route 40 here in New Jersey. Could have sworn that was Woodstown High School just about dead center. And we have some hills and dairy farms along the way. Great panels and a really nice project. There is a plaque somewhere along the NJ stretch that says 40 was the first US transcontinental highway, going from the beach in Atlantic City to somewhere in Southern California. LA maybe?
I wonder how many other sections look like these panels.
The work is beautiful and the overall project came together very well. Thanks for sharing.

Saw this at Martha washington quilt show-amazing how different quilters can come together to represent a panaographic image. Congratulations to all participants

Love the idea. There was a similar project displayed at a recent quilt show of a river valley that is in our local area. I thought it was a great idea. I love yours! Thanks for sharing.

That is a beautiful set of quilts. I'd love to see some of the panels up close.

Cheers, K
