I am not sure about the feet you are referring to... I am def a novice when it comes to treadles I just knew I had to have one and couldnt pass it up... I want more...lol
It is a model 28 I did find that out as well today

It's a 66...

One of mine has a leather bootlace for a belt! I just cut it to size and used a piece of wire for the hook/clamp...works great, I don't see a need to replace it with anything more expensive!

Another option for a belt replacement is plastic tubeing (like for aquariums) with a thin dowel glued into it to complete the circle. Mine has this set-up and has been going fine for a long time.

HOW WONDERFUL!! I have my grandmothers treadle machine. It's a daily memory of her. She moved from small town Iowa to Omaha, enrolled in a sewing school, met my grandfather.... and the rest is history. rosieret

You have a beautiful machine and it'll be a real beauty when you get her fixed(belt replaced), cabinet refinished and give her a name!! Enjoy her & have fun!
