Ok ladies and gents, I have cut all the strips for a quilt called Paint by number in the August 2007 American Patchwork magazine. This will be for my oldest daughter as a wedding present, not yet engaged , but probably soon. She loved the pattern when she saw it and it will e a surprise for her. This is the layout of the strips that I have-does it look ok to you. There are supposed to be 28 strips , but I ended up with 29.

I don't know about how the strips should go, never having made a bargello, but the colors are great and that quilt is gorgeous!! Can't wait to see more! Hope you will post progress pics!!

Fabulous quilt! Your fab choices look perfect to me. Please post pics as you progress. I love bargello quilts but don't have the nerve to try one yet.

Lovely. So pretty. I love those bargello quilts but they look very intimidating.
