    the pattern is called old fashioned rose it is in a pamphlet type book by aunt martha's creations yes it is an old pattern

    It sounds like she had a rough life, but had an artist's soul. what a beautiful quilt!

    I can only echo, what a wonderful treasure. It is a beautiful quilt and your Grandmother was obviously talented before tragedy struck. What a lovely find.

    It's gorgeous. I luv quilts like this. I would be careful of it but I would definitely put it in a place where I could look at it and treasure it everyday.
