I'm so sorry to hear of your fall and resulting injury. I know how it feels having been through it myself!
Just be sure and do all the exercises given, they make alot of difference to recovery. The quilts you have made are gorgeous.

LOL... just tell me I can't.. But don't push too far too soon, or you will be back in the operating room like my DH, who just knew better than the docs what he was ready to do. If you get my drift... lol. He is fine now, after the second repair.

Second, I want to say how much I love your quilt tops. The second one really appeals to me, and I wonder if you would mind telling the size you cut the rectangles? I'm just guessing at 2.5x5.5" with 1.5" strip of green in between to equal a 5x5" finished square. My second guess would be adding 1" to each to equal a 6x6" finished square. Am I close?

I used charm packs for that quilt, so the rectangles are 2.5" x 5". The strips in between those pieces are 1" x 5", and the sashing between each block is 2" wide.
Still working on unhooking the bra, lol!
And thank you for your kind words!

After seeing 3 & 4 wanted to see 1 and 2. And glad I found them. Yes #1 is so crisp and clean; but #2 has an appealing design to it. I can see this done in bright scraps with white or country colors with black. How about the modern colors with gray? The possibilities are endless. I'm not a green fan; but long ago to look past the color and concentrate on the design and think "what if...?"
I think you have been so productive since surgery. I bet you are itching to get them completed--but good things come to those who wait!

Very pretty, but follow doctor's orders, you'll be the better quilter if you aren't in pain

So glad you are mending, but don't overdo when you get the go-ahead from the doc. Pretty tops just begging to be quilted.
