My guild is doing this block for the block of the month in July. I usually like the blocks that are chosen, but I especially like this one. It took about an hour and a half from choosing the fabrics to completion. It's 9 1/2 inches (9 inches completed). I thought three or four of these with a nice border would be a great wall hanging or table runner.

I'm going to publish the instructions, and I hope I'm not going to get in trouble for doing that. I think the block is in the public domain, so I'm not infringing on anybody's copyright. (Actually, I'm not sure I can post it, but I'll give it a try.) Enjoy!

Nice block and you are right - would make a nice table runner.
