Here's the center of mine.. I'm thinking a narrow black border, then maybe green and the outside border the original fabric. What do you think?

Gorgeous! I think I'd consider a cream(?) colored narrow border to match the light color in the middle and bring out the dark blocks on the edge, and then bring in the other colors.

Try putting the uncut fabrics (the dark you want, and the cream that Ugly Cook suggested) just under the edge of your quilt to a width you're thinking of using and see how it looks to you. I think I agree with her that cream might be the one to make the dark colors stand out.

A small cream border to "contain" then a 4" border of original print with a 1/4 inch flange of the green before the binding. It would look great, lay it out and audition. You can probably come up with something better.
