That's the prettiest tree skirt I've seen! Where can I get a pattern like that?

That's the prettiest Christmas tree skirt I've ever seen. You did a great job selecting the colors. Beautiful.

The pattern is from an Eleanor Burns Quilt in a Day Book entitled, "Diamond Log Cabin" table cloth or tree skirt. It's a very easy pattern that makes up fairly quickly. This one only has 3 darks and 3 lights. I've made several with only the 3 lights and 3 darks and they fit the trees wonderfully. The pattern from Ms. Burns instructs you to use 4 light and 4 dark and makes quite a large tree skirt. I made one with 4 of each color for my 12' tree and it looks great. Good luck and post a picture when you've finished.

It was folded and boxed before I realized I hadn't taken any pictures so it's a little wrinkled.

This is gorgeous. Where can we get the pattern?
