This is one of the mosts unique quilts I've seen, gonna have to make one for the youngest grandson. Did you get your bug fabrics on line thru a swap?
|
Love them!

Wow, 72 different jars. What a great gift.

Love that quilt! My DGS would love it too. I love your embroidery work too. Did you use a pattern? Would you share pattern info? Thank you for any info.

Brilliant...love the little creatures along the shelves too....loads to see in this one. This is a beauty!

That is absolutely adorable! I think the embroidery is a great addition. Good job.

Really like your quilt. Have looked at the bug jar quilts often but haven't made one yet. Love the embroidery you added. Makes neat little hidden treasures on the quilt. Great job and thanks for sharing.

http://bugjarquilt.blogspot.com/ However, instead of having them "floating" I didn't add the bottom piece and instead cut a 1.5" sashing to look like a bookcase shelf and then added a 2.5" border all the way around to look like the outside of the bookcase. Hope this helps. |
Wonderful quilt! He will have so much fun looking inside of each jar!!!
