Ohhhh .. Those are sweet lisa! I love how the stars are floating in the center. So many of the old found blocks of yesteryear had them running all the way to the edge making it impossible to square them up and too wierd to try and set. Lucky You!

I would try to square them up as best you can and make a quilt from them. The blocks are beautiful and scrappy quilts are just the best.

LOL! I wish I could do that block, too! All those points together yet still pointy is way beyond me. I'm still on "beginner blocks".

What a wonderful treasure! By all means, make them into a quilt - someday your own great-grandchildren will have an heirloom to treasure that unites you and your great-grandmother. There's a nice article in the Sept issue of American Quilter about finishing old or antique blocks into quilts.
