Here's my latest scrappy top.
These blocks are from a swap and took me outside my traditional comfort zone. This top is for donation through the Heartstrings Project. |
craftyheart2, I loveeeee your wonky blocks. So carefree and cheerful. And so good of you to support a charity!!! Your heart strings are in the right place. Smiles and hugssssssss.

Here is one I did a couple years ago & mailed to Florida - can't find the pattern I used and can't remember the name!

I was looking through this thread from the beginning and there are some amazing quilts. I don't think I've ever seen a Storm at Sea done this way before and I love it.
So many different ways to use up those scraps! Thanks to all of you for sharing your pictures and ideas. Donna |

Here's my last finish for 2012, a twin-size string quilt that will be donated to a group home for young adults that have aged out of foster care. It's 73x89 and used 8 yards from my stash.

ladynred - I just love string quilts, & yours is just wonderful!

Hard to work on a scrappy quilt when my helper keeps lying down 'on the job'. Will post a picture when I get the top sewn together. It is from the selveges but still a scrappy and will be warm.
