Here's mine. This one took me a year and a half. It was machine pieced, needle turned 3 dimensional appliqued, and I hand quilted this one. I made it for my daughter who loves it. It is one of my favorite quilts and may make one for myself. The third photo is a close-up while I was quilting it.

This is a quilt I did for a 2012 Christmas gift for my DDIL. It was posted yesterday under My Most Challenging Quilt to Date - USA, but after encouragement from other board member, I am posting it here as well. Thank you for all your kind comments. I have had the pattern for several years but I googled the pattern name and came up with this web site for the pattern:

This quilt is machine pieced, needle turned applique, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. It took me about 6 months and it is only a lap size quilt. I gave it to my DMIL for Christmas. She is a dear sweet lady and is not in the best of health right now. I'm thinking maybe I like the "specialness" of self designed pieces more than the actual look. |
