Default Sun rays wall quilt

After doing a few doll quilt swaps (August to November) I was inspired to try something for my sewing room wall, a present from me to me for Christmas. Here it is - the sun with rays in rainbow colours and embellished with glass beads. The quilting is pretty rubbishy, it looks far better in real life, but I'm pleased. I hope you like it!

Muv, I like it. Did you bead over a cord to get the affect on your rays? I love adding beads to my small quilts.

Well spotted, SewExtreme! The gauze ribbon is held down with a line of cord stitched down the middle and the beads sewn over the cord.

Now that would make me feel cheerful every time I stepped into my sewing, love the colors.
