Our "puppy" has decided he likes our bed much better than his own, and so far I have been unable to train him to stay off. He sneaks up there when I'm not looking. Because we have a doggy door going outside from our bedroom, he likes to play outside and then jump right up into the bed.

I had a bunch of denim pieces I had bought at a garage sale (precut!), so I decided to make a quilt to protect our good bedspread. It came out a little smaller than I expected, but it still does the trick.

That was a very good idea. Now he has his own blanky.

Great idea. Same reason I have an older quilt on our bed...cats like to sleep on it, and the dogs jump on it when they come in. Can't have anything nice!! Well, I've decided no more when these have gone on to pet heaven!! Humm...we'll see how long my hubby can stand it.

Great Job! And very servicable, especially since you have a little puppy. It's like getting the best of both worlds... a lovely quilt, and something the puppy cannot ruin. loll

It's pretty and will wear like iron. What a good idea.
