I finally finished the outer border of my very first quilt. I am waiting to quilt it until after I take my machine quilting class next month  For some reason I had trouble getting the colors to show well but the fabrics are yellows and coral/salmons. PLEASE don't look to close...LOTS of mistakes! ;) Next week I start the "Beyond Basics" class and we will be making a sampler quilt. I am SO addicted!

    This is the whole top

This is a closer view of the colors

Of course my big guy had to check it out!

    Hello Gail Qbee

Love your bright, fresh looking log cabin quilt - well done. The cat is beautiful too. Look forward to seeing more work in future.

    That quilt is really gorgeous!

And remember, quilters don't make mistakes, just artistic interpretations of the pattern/instructions.

Besides, your quilt inspector obviously loves it!
