Scrappy Quilt show - Right Here!! :)
#1201
That is so true. Eons ago, I was going to make my DD a little scrap quilt to cover up with when she was reading or watching TV. She was highly offended... thought she was getting "left overs". I made it for her anyway. Fast foward about 15 years... she's now all grown up, just bought her first house & guess what is folded over the arm of her new sofa? Yep... the little scrap quilt. It has gone to college, law school & now her first home with her.

Here is a real scrappy quilt. I won 2 stashes of our guilds Block of the Month in October and this is the quilt I made from it. Also had 3 blocks left over and am making a table runner. Also won one bundle of BOM in November, but it is not finished yet -- only have the top pieced.

I received a PM asking about a quilt lurking on the back of my sofa when I showed my scrappy quilts earlier in this post. I don't know how to add a picture when replying to a PM, so I'll add it here in case others would like to see it too. That was the first time I've posted pictures of my quilts. I'm so glad you like them! The pattern of the quilt you saw on the back of my sofa is 'Underground Railroad Story' by Eleanor Burns. Enjoy!

Here's a picture of my pillow sham that I just finished, I have made two but need to finish off the binding on the other one. These were made using up left over 4 patches and HST's from my Jacobs Ladder quilt I made last autumn
