You are far more creative than I am apparently, but I would like to think that this comes with experience! LOL. Since I am a relative newbie, I don't think I would have been as creative as you were. There quilt is great. The white background really makes the colors pop! The weather pillow is ADORABLE! Pockets and all! Like Tartan said, with what you were given? Yep, you did a fabulous job!

Wow! If I had been given those, I would have said, "No way" but you did a terrific job. I'm still trying to put together a quilt from my niece's clothes. She passed away 2 years ago and, when I get the time, I'm still ironing the stabilizer on the back of pieces. Something always gets in the way. Right now we have custody of my 13-year-old granddaughter and our lives are upside down.

Gretchen,
I have not been so moved in a long time. Your story and the outcome of your labor of love makes me teary! Never in a million years would I be able to create such wonderful items out of the clothing you were given. You are truly talented and an amazing friend. Bless you! I love the pillow btw.
