    Default "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" finally finished!

    This was a class project two summers ago. We didn't get to choose our fabric, and I wasn't excited about this at all. But the more I worked with it, the more it reminded me of someone... and a movie I watched as a child. The beautiful embroidery was done by Lyn (TinkerQuilts) that I found through the Board. What a generous person! Her Mickey makes the quilt. Thanks, Lyn!

    It's a surprise for my sister, a huge Mickey Mouse fan. I hope she loves it.

    I like your big stitch quilting -- it certainly enhances the quilt. You may not have liked the project to begin with but you certainly turned it into a treasure!
