    "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" finally finished!

This was a class project two summers ago. We didn't get to choose our fabric, and I wasn't excited about this at all. But the more I worked with it, the more it reminded me of someone... and a movie I watched as a child. The beautiful embroidery was done by Lyn (TinkerQuilts) that I found through the Board. What a generous person! Her Mickey makes the quilt. Thanks, Lyn!

It's a surprise for my sister, a huge Mickey Mouse fan. I hope she loves it.

I like your big stitch quilting -- it certainly enhances the quilt. You may not have liked the project to begin with but you certainly turned it into a treasure!

OMG, so cute. This is my favorite Micky! I made a wall hanging with this Micky as the star for a challenge at our guild a few years ago. Your sister will love it.

Oh it is so pretty. I looked down and seen Mickey, and thought oh that is just the prettiest added touch.
